摘要：缺血性脑卒中具有高发病率、高致死率和高致残率的特点，是严重威胁人类健康的常见疾病之一。中药治疗缺血性脑卒中是中医药学历代积累下来的宝贵财富。牡丹是毛茛科芍药属植物，主要活性部位为牡丹皮和种子，尤其是牡丹皮。中医理论认为，牡丹皮是活血化瘀的良药。现代药理学研究发现，多种牡丹提取单体对缺血性脑卒中具有显著改善作用，提示牡丹活性提取物作为缺血性脑疾病的潜在治疗药物，具有广阔的开发前景和临床应用价值。因此，该文综述近年来牡丹中主要活性单体抗缺血性脑卒中研究进展。
