Abstract:Spinal cord injury can lead to motor and sensory dysfunction and produces a variety of complications in patients. Although many drugs show potential for spinal cord protection in preclinical studies, few have advanced to clinical use. This paper reviewed the neuroprotective effects of drugs that currently have entered clinical trials for spinal cord injury.
