Inflammatory factors stimulate nerve fibers may cause pain which is also one of the reasons for the degeneration of the intervertebral disc. At present there is a lack of stable and reliable anti-inflammatory drugs for lumbar disc herniation. The inflammatory mechanism and related signal pathways of lumbar disc herniation were reviewed.
